First Friday of the Month
8:30am at Hope Restores
231 Copeland Ave, La Crosse, WI

Coffee with Hope Restores

Coffee with Hope Restores is one of the ways we foster our relationship with the community. Once a month, we host coffee so we can stay connected with people and other organizations. It's a great way for everyone to learn about what's happening in other organizations and Hope Restores.  It's been a really beautiful and unique opportunity to build stronger relationships, share some laughs and enjoy a nice cup of joe.

The first Friday of the month is the in-person coffee where we sit around a big table at Hope Restores on Copeland Avenue and get to know each other and what is happening at Hope Restores.

August Ball

Next Annual Celebration in 2024!

The August Ball was part of the Emancipation Day celebration, which became Juneteenth. Originally it was called the Haitian Independence Day because the celebration started in 1804. The independence day began with shared picnic baskets at Levey Park (now Riverside Park) and there were speakers calling for political action. In the evening there was a grand ball highlighted with fireworks.

We will be having a formal dinner and recreating the grand ball with our Juneteenth Court.

It’s time for our 3rd Annual Breakfast with Hip-Hop Breakfast with Santa event! All are welcome to enjoy a warm breakfast, music, dancing, gifts, and a good time. Wear your hip-hop Christmas gear and get ready to dance your pancakes off.
